Lovely gem in a lovely neighborhood. We chose the harvest table for lunch which is essentially a buffet style selection of various offerings including various vegetarian options like salads, pasta, ratatouille, marinated cauliflower, and non-vegetarian like chicken schnitzel and bobotie.We selected the vegetarian offerings all of which were absolutely delicious, full of flavor, well seasoned, and very fresh.A fresh juice added a nice compliment to a healthy and tasty lunch.

Would highly recommend to grab a bite and brekkie. The service was very quick and so was the food to arrive. The place is quite small and if you’re sitting inside you don’t get the feeling of sitting and chatting for ages, but the outside seating is very nice. The food was incredible! I suggest going before 11 so you can get the breakfast menu.

I love matthew cafe du cap. What a beautiful server. Never loved a server more. Never witnessed someone pour the wine better. Parmesan chips so crispy and water so wet. I couldn't possibly find a better restaurant and waiter.

2023: still a great place to enjoy a nice lunch and relax. Waitress was great and the vibe was totally chilled. 2022 : Thank you Ben for your kind and great service. Made a light lunch all the more special. Nice ambience and on the day, great music and great weather. So much so, my friend wanted to vegitate there for a lot longer.

Met up with colleagues for an end of year gathering 19th December 2024. Awesome team, from the kitchen who added my favorite to my meal. To considering my colleagues special dietary requirement, to making a "magical iced coffee".I will definitely call again . . .
